Trinkets Trail Craft Market was started in October, 2001. The idea was minted by us, a group of Arts & Craft enthusiast s who felt that there was no market for us to promote our handmade products as most spaces at shopping malls were way beyond our league. We were very fortunate in that the first mall we approached, Subang Parade gave their blessing and bingo! the BIRTH of TRINKETS TRAIL!
We did a lot of groundwork ourselves; we sourced for vendors with unique products and promoted the market by way of advertisements in local newspapers and distributed flyers.
The first venue was at G26, the space in front of MPH Bookstores. We started off with 20 stalls promoting Arts & Craft with emphasis on handmade products. Vendors are carefully screened and selected as the overall picture of a peaceful, tidy and homely market should be maintained for the shopping pleasure of our customers. From a mere 20 stalls, we expanded to 50 stalls and during festive periods, we had as many as 60 stalls!
