The Kiddies’ Club was formed more than 5 years ago to create an awareness in children to make stuff by re-cycling and re-using what we have in our own backyard.
To be a member, parents or guardians need to register their children with proof of purchase of a minimum RM50 (single or accumulated) receipts. Every month, a different craft will be taught and we usually make stuff according to the festive mood of the month.
For example: lanterns during Chinese New Year, painting Easter eggs during Easter, making jewelry for Mums during Mother’s day, card for Father’s Day, decorative ketupats during Hari Raya, lights during Deepavali, Christmas ornaments during Christmas and non-festive products during school holidays.
Parents need the proof of purchase ONLY once to register their child and one receipt for one child. Subsequently, register your child via email or by telephone for the month that you want your child to join. Participation each month is limited to 10 kids and registration is on FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE basis.
The craft class will be held between 2 pm - 3 pm every 3rd (third) Saturday of the month and you may start registering your child from the 1st (first) of the month. Closing date will be a week before class starts or until 10 children are registered (whichever comes first). There will be NO cost involved as all materials are sponsored by Trinkets Trail Craft Market.
April’s craft will be on how to make animals out of egg cartons. Click here to view pictures on the event.
