Last month’s craft was on how to make a penguin and a tortoise from egg cartons. We had 10 wonderful kids and the joy on their faces said it all! A young lady by the name of Amelia was so happy and satisfied with her end-result that she dropped by the next day and presented me with a box of dough nuts to show her appreciation. It made me happy that my small contribution in teaching the kids was so well-received by the kids as well as their parents.
May’s craft will be on Chinese knotting. Kids will be taught how to knot their way to a ornament for them to hang on their school bags. Once again, parents need to confirm their kids’ participation by emailing or calling to register. Please DO NOT just drop by as there may not be enough materials. Parents are kindly reminded that class ends at 3 pm and their kids need to be picked up not later than 3.10 pm.
