Community Service

Every year, we do our teeny, weeny bit for the less fortunate. Since 2001, we have made contributions to Compassion Home in Subang, Educare Centre in Klang, Rumah Gembira of Kelana Jaya, Sanctuary Home in K.L.,RACTAR of Subang, Seri Setia Old Folks Home of Sungai Way and Little Sisters Of The Poor in Cheras.

We take the residents (all girls) of RACTAR for their Raya shopping and then break ‘fast’ with them during the fasting month. For Christmas, we take the children from Educare, Sanctuary and Gembira to shop for their school uniforms and school supplies, give each child a Christmas gift and have a Christmas party for them. Please click here for pictures from a recent visit to the children from Sanctuary.

We bring a hamper of festive goodies and toiletries, an angpow and Yee Sang to each of the old folks of Seri Setia and Little Sisters Of The Poor during The Chinese New Year period.

The combined effort of Subang Parade’s Management, Trinkets Trail’s vendors, shoppers and friends have spurred us on to do more for Charity. We wish to convey our heartfelt thanks to everyone who have contributed in cash or kind towards our Charity events.

Every third Tuesday of the month, we run a “kopitiam” for Little Sisters Of The Poor. We cook or prepare food and then sell them to the Old Folks at a very, very low price (for example: RM1 for a bowl of curry laksa, RM1 for 2 sandwiches) and we donate all the proceeds back to the home. The monthly “kopitiam” is very popular with the residents who would otherwise have nowhere else to ‘spend’ their money (usually given to them by well-wishers during festive seasons). Please click here to view the "Kopitiam".

Please contact us if you wish to help us at the kopitiam, donate food and/or money. We also welcome any used items that are in good condition.
